Derby Day at Triple Crown 2026
Saturday, May 2, 2026, 4 – 8pm
Triple Crown at The Radnor Hotel invited guests to celebrate the 152nd Kentucky Derby in grand style at its inaugural Derby Day fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 4:00–8:00 PM. This elegant garden party blends refined hospitality, Derby pageantry, and immersive experiences to support TRRAC (Thoroughbred Retirement, Rehabilitation & Careers), a Chester County, Pennsylvania-based accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing lifelong care and second careers for retired Thoroughbred racehorses.
Set across Triple Crown’s stunning outdoor Gardens, Tent, and Conservatory at The Radnor Hotel, the event was presented by Fearless Restaurants, the acclaimed regional group renowned for experiential dining and community impact. A featured partnership with Woodford Reserve brings bespoke cocktails—including the classic mint julep—to the forefront.
Culinary highlights featured heavy hors d’oeuvres, elegant stationary displays, and roaming service, vintage Ape and Citroën beverage carts by All Event Party Rental, abundant charcuterie and artisanal cheeses, seasonal passed bites, elevated Southern-inspired small plates, and cocktail-friendly fare. The evening concluded with a showstopping dessert and coffee bar curated by Triple Crown Pastry Chef Danielle Seipp (formerly of Four Seasons Philadelphia), offering indulgent, refined sweets.
Event design elements came from Shannon Wellington Weddings, the acclaimed boutique firm in Chadds Ford, PA. Photography by Du Soleil Photographie and real-time content by Moments by San capture dhe festivities and Remixologists will be providing the music.
HSN Host and QVC Alum George Brescia was the event’s MC and host. A video wall broadcasted full Derby coverage, ensuring prime viewing of pre-race festivities and the Kentucky Derby race itself.
The evening peaked with a fashion competition in partnership—Best Hat, Best Dressed, and Best Dressed Couple—judged by Gina Lizzo, Managing Editor of Main Line Today and The Hunt Magazine, Caroline Keating Gilroy, Owner of Couper, and others. Guests were encouraged to dress in Derby attire to compete for luxurious prizes.
