Jefferson Women’s Board hosts ‘Sunset Sips & Skyline Soiree’
“Sunset Sips & Skyline Soiree” took place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, on the rooftop of the new Honickman Center – a building designed with the latest technology to assist patients and doctors in various specialties for outpatient procedures. The Women’ s Board funding has influenced many programs within the TJUH network. This outreach touches patients of all ages and includes those with emotional or physical disabilities, cancer, other serious diagnoses, neonatal care, aftercare, addiction treatment and counseling, mentorship, dementia management, programs in support of healthy lifestyles, some in need of financial support for doctor’s visits, and even a crib or car seat for a pregnant mother in need. This past year the Women’s Board funded the in-house pharmacy at the new Honickman Center and the purchase of an ophthalmoscope to diagnose eye conditions at Wills Eye Hospital, in addition to several programs in need of funding in order to operate Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Women’s Board
