On Saturday, November 11, 2023, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts celebrated its 25th Annual Bacchanal Wine Gala and Auction. Bacchanal is the premier wine event in the Philadelphia region, and it is PAFA’s largest fundraiser, bringing in over $500,000 annually. Since the event’s inception, Bacchanal has raised over $9 million to support student scholarships. This year the event honored Winston and Carolyn Lowe for their legacy of philanthropy, both at PAFA and in the region, and also honored Judith K. Brodsky for her work as an artist, curator, director and educator.
