Radnor Historical Society celebrates its 75th anniversary
1. In May 1947, a small group of Radnor locals met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard S. Pleasants to discuss a plan to establish a local historical society to function in Radnor Township. The Society’s incorporation was approved by the Commonwealth in 1948. Since that time the society is committed to preserving, protecting, presenting and promoting the history of Radnor Township. On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, Radnor Historical Society members celebrated its 75th Anniversary during a dinner held at the Willows in Villanova. RHS President Jennifer Beacom and her husband Dan paused for a photo with Evie Giegerich, Lynne Ellis and Greg Prichard.
