Exceptional Finds of Bryn Mawr feature their curated collection at Rosalie Wayne
Fearless Femmes, part of Fearless Restaurants that seeks to inspire, empower, and engage women through female-centered content and events, presented a night of cocktails, conversation, and shopping at Rosalie Wayne, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Beth Silverberg, a former professional poker player who now owns Exceptional Finds in Bryn Mawr, which features a curated collection of vintage and contemporary treasures from designers such as Hermes, Gucci, and Chanel and couture jewelry lines such as Spinelli Kilcollin, Cadar, and Sydney Evan, brought her treasures to the event.
Silverberg shared her story about playing professional poker starting in 2004, at the time she was one of the very few women playing at that level. She was recognized as one of the world’s top women players, having made it to the three WSOP final tables. As a public figure, she was also recognized for her sophisticated style and love of fashion. Silverberg was featured on national programs including 20/20, Celebrity Nightmares, Poker After Dark, NY Ink, Millionaire Matchmaker, Vine Talk with Stanley Tucci, and MTV Cribs, as well as a documentary about her life entitled “God Save My Shoes.”
For Silverberg, handbags aren’t just a luxury they’re an investment – which she insists are just as lucrative as real estate, art, and even stocks. She will share information about what handbags are the best investment and why Credit Suisse projected handbags to be one of the best ‘collectible’ investments of 2023 – outranking jewelry and art in terms of resale value!
Attendees enjoyed a sparkling Cosmo, small bites, and a pop-up boutique by Silverberg where she offered ten percent off items during the pop-up shop held at Rosalie Wayne, part of Fearless Restaurants group.
