The 30th Anniversary running of the Willowdale Steeplechase  was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The races returned in the traditional format and activities included six sanctioned horse races, Jack Russell Terrier Races, Pony Races, the Kid’s Alley Educational Activity Tent, Vendor Booths, an Antique Car display, and Hat,Tailgate, and Best Dressed Contests.   The Willowdale Steeplechase is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, raising funds for the Stroud Water Research Center and Penn Vet New Bolton Center
