The Blue Dress Soirée at PMA celebrates the Matisse exhibition in the 1930s
1. The Blue Dress Soirée, a festive evening to celebrate the Matisse exhibition in the 1930s, took place on Friday, November 18, 2022 at The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Partygoers were encouraged to wear blue, in honor of a star painting by Henri Matisse, Woman In Blue, which is prominently displayed in the exhibition. Members of the public enjoyed creative Matisse-inspired blue cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided by Constellation Culinary Group and blue-inspired music and activities created a whimsical, Instagram-worthy atmosphere in one of Philadelphia’s most iconic settings. Jennifer Allie and her brother Gregory admired the blue gowns on display at s at the entrance of the Matisse exhibit
