Willowdale Steeplechase 2022 returns to full capacity
1. The 29th running of the Willowdale Steeplechase, held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, returned to full spectator capacity for this year’s event. The races began with Jack Russell Terrier races followed by Pony races; Tailgate judging: best dressed and hat contest; and singing of the National Anthem performed by the Unionville High School Marching Band. The first race began at 1:00 pm and the last race began at 4:00 pm. The Willowdale Steeplechase is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, raising funds for the Stroud Water Research Center and Penn Vet New Bolton Center.
