1. On Sunday, June 9, 2019 Sunday, an international artists show featuring original and unique collections of works by artists from Cuba, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The art show took place in The Lincoln Building at Historic Yellow Springs in partnership with The Tori Collection. Attendees enjoyed a musical program by young musicians Lilla Tsvetkov and Aidan Peterson as they toured the gallery and examined the art. The show will run through Sunday, June 23. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the art program of Historic Yellow Springs and the youth initiatives of Harmony For Peace. Tomoki Torii is curator and president of The Tori Collection. It is located in northern Malvern, PA, and exhibits at cultural venues on the East coast. She represents original and limited edition art around the world with resident artists as well as international artists. Torii also specializes in Japanese prints. She is involved with cultural exchange through music education for children and youth with a focus on multi-cultural interests. Torii received the ABC Channel 6 “Outstanding Community Service Award to our Community and to Journalistic Excellence” among other awards. 4. Artist I-Ven Wang (right) brought family members Bruce Hwang, Shing Mei Hwang, Scott Hwang and Yuchin Wang to the international art show.The art show continues through Sunday, June 23.
