
1.The Main Line Antiques Show, a benefit for Surrey Services, is ongoing in Mellon Hall at the Valley Forge Military Academy & College. The two-day event, featuring 30 dealers, continues through Sunday, November 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items for purchase include fine 18th, 19th and 20th century antiques and art, ceramics, textiles, pewter, porcelain, silver, estate jewelry, glass, furniture, decorative and fine arts and more. This year’s loan exhibit is the presidential china from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Set Momjiam. 2. Since 1981, Surrey Services for Seniors has provided a broad range of programs for Chester and Delaware County residents over the age of 55. Today Surrey Services is a model program for ”aging-in-place,” providing more than 3,500 seniors each year with access to home-based health and housing services as well as wellness and social activities. Karen and Cy Beeman of The Gilded Plate brought their fine porcelain and glass antiques to the Main Line Antiques Show.
